Brain Lara: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma or David Warner can break my world record of 400 in test innings

The world record for scoring the most runs in an innings in Test cricket has been held by former West Indies captain Brian Lara for 16 years. Lara notched an unbeaten 400 in 2004 at the Antiga Recreation Ground at St. John's in Antiga. Lara has now told which of the three present-day batsmen are such that they can break their record. Out of these three, only two are Indian batsmen. Lara believes his record can only be broken by Team India captain Virat Kohli, Australian opener David Warner or Team India opener Rohit Sharma.

Lara said these things in an interview to India Today. Apart from this, he believes that the Indian cricket team, captained by Virat Kohli, has the power to win any ICC tournament. Lara believes that Team India can also name the T20 World Cup to be played in Australia in October-November this year.

scored 400 runs in Test cricket against England in 2004. Lara had hit an innings of 400 not out, which is still a world record. When asked who could break his world record, Lara said, "It will be difficult for Steve Smith to do this while batting at number 4 in the Australian team." He is a great player but he is not able to dominate. A player like David Warner can. Virat Kohli can also do it. He is an aggressive batsman. Rohit Sharma can do anything on his day.
