Test team consisting of the best players of the decade was announced, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. No Pakistani players could make it.



Sydney - Fox Sports, Australia's leading sports website, has announced the Test team consisting of the best players of the decade. The squad consisting of 11 players includes two Australians, two Indians and three South African players, while one each belongs to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. No Pakistani player has made a place in the best Test team in ten years. 


1. Alastair Cook (Eng)  The England opener is former Alastair Cook, who scored 8,818 runs in ten years at an average of 46.51.The former England captain has been chosen to assist, with Australian batsman David Warner.


2.  David Warner (Aus).  Australian dangerous opener David Warner has given up 23 centuries with an average of 48.33 over ten years with his aggressive batting. 


3.   Kumar Sanga Kara (Sl).  Former Sri Lankan captain and wicketkeepers batsman Kumar Sangakkara has been selected at the third spot, who has scored 4,851 runs at an average of 61.40 thanks to 17 centuries. 


4.  Steve Smith (Aus).  Former Australia captain Steve is fourth. Smith, who has scored 7,070 runs at an average of 26 centuries and 63.14.


5.   Virat Kohli (Ind).   India's Virat Kohli is fifth in the team. Who has scored 7,202 runs with 27 centuries at an average of 54.97.


6.   AB Deviliars (SA). Sixth in the best team of the decade is South Africa's top batsman AB de Villiers, who has 13 centuries at an average of 57.48 with 5,059 runs. 


7.  Mushfiq-Ur-Rehman (Bang).  Bangladesh wicketkeeper batsman Mashfiqur Rahim is ranked seventh, who has joined the wicket-keeper team. Former Bangladesh captain has scored 2,860 runs, including 6 centuries. 


8.   Ravi Chandra Ashvin (Ind).  India off-spinner Ravi Chandra Ashwin has been named in the squad for 362 wickets at an average of 25. 


9.  Dale Steyn (SA).  New Africa's former Test bowler Dale Steyn has been included in the squad, who has 267 wickets at an average of 22. 


10.  James Anderson (Eng).  James Anderson, the highest wicket-taker from England, has also managed to make it to the team. During those ten years, Anderson took 427 wickets at an average of 24.



11.  Kagisu Rabada (SA). The last fast bowler of the team, Kagisu Rabada, belongs to South Africa, who has taken 183 wickets at an average of 22.
